Underground Railroad Immersive Journey

Compass to Freedom is designed to honor the Freedom Seekers who traveled northward, highlighting the journey many made on the local Underground Railroad through Morgan County, Ohio.
Visitors learn local history by uncovering clues hidden in the Quaker home that was a stop on the Underground Railroad and today is the site of the Multicultural Genealogical Center of Chesterhill.
The hour-long experience is wonderful both for families and adults, ideally in groups of 4-6.
All proceeds help to advance the Multicultural Genealogical Center’s mission to document and highlight the contributions of multicultural and multiracial families to the social, cultural, political, religious, educational and economic development of the Ohio River Valley.
